The Tun Jugah Foundation

The Tun Jugah Foundation (Yayasan Tun Jugah) was registered on the 29th day of January 1985, under the Societies Act, 1966 (13 of 1966). The Foundation is a charitable organization. It is managed by a Board of Management, and run by an administrative personnel. The Board of Management is headed by the Chairman, Y.Bhg. Datuk Amar (Dr.) Leonard Linggi Jugah. Tun Jugah Anak Barieng (1903 - 1981) was the Paramount Chief of the Iban people for more than 55 years. They called him "Apai" meaning "father".

Tun Jugah was one of Sarawak's founding fathers. He was a state leader, and was Federal Minister for Sarawak Affairs. He was elected a member of Parliament during Malaysia's first elections in 1963.
